Retreat Schedule

a note about this particular retreat

This retreat in Malibu will begin 13 days after the United States’ presidential election. Regardless of who wins, it is certain to be a bruising fall for the country. And even after Election Day, we may not know the outcome for a while. So we are not pretending to have an exact plan for this retreat so far in the future. Of course we will follow the general structure and stay anchored to our three values: space for healing, solidarity, and reimagination. And we feel strongly about following the Ezekiel story of the Valley of Dry Bones. But we also want to stay flexible enough to engage the particular moment, whatever that may be.

In early fall, our team will begin prayerfully discerning how to best approach the retreat. The Spirit will lead us all! Can’t wait to be with you in this absolutely gorgeous holy space up in the hills of Malibu.

God will often take you where no one dares, so that God can do what no one can.
